Thousands of people choosed Internet as career, and money making place. Its the truth that Internet is providing big scale of freedom and independence, in the level that hard daily job workers could only dream about.
But, as in any other business, making money online requires some level of knowledge and rules that have to be practiced, so it could be possible to pay bills with it.

However, difference between daily job, and Internet Business, is that online one is combination of many different experiences.
Its very important to pick up as many of these experiences, so all those different aspects that have major rule in making Internet Business successful, could be able to performed on the right way.
Only good understanding of all new duties can get you to the track when your Internet business could become an automated money machine, that will bring you some decent ( or more than decent ) income.
Many people have wrong thoughts about making money online. They have read some article, or better to say advertisement, where some thousands or even millions of dollars, are been promised to them in few days. But on the end, most of them finish unsatisfied, because they don't earn nothing.
So, my first advice would be : Don't fly high, and don't expect that your first month income would be in Kobe Bryant's rang, because it won't. I don't say, it probably won't, I say it won't.

Its impossible to earn same money as rookie, or as experienced player with 5 rings. So, its impossible to earn same in your first month, as some of those guys who are working for years. You don't have as much knowledge they do, you don't have as much testing they do, you don't have as much sleepless nights they do.

So, keep in your mind this - there is going to be a lot of work to do, there is going to be many things to learn, there is going to be many mistakes, but if you don't quit after all those fluctuations, you are going to earn money. And even with all work that is required for it, its going to be much easier than it would be on your daily job.

Because, daily job sucks :)

OK, we have decided what kind of web site we are going to make; we have researched a market; we have checked what our future competition is doing, and how.

Now we have to decide what kind of web platform we are going to use for our site.

If you are familiar with coding, You are probably going to code a site from scratch, and customize it exactly as you want. But if you are beginner, you need to try some different methods.
You have two choices - to find some coder and designer,who will build and design a site for you, or to use some of already made scripts, free or paid one.

Thats something you have to decide about, and I'll try to introduce you with few possibilities you have.

First one would be to go to some of freelancer sites ( getafreelancer.com, freelancer.net... ) aand hire some coder to make a site for you. There are tons of guys who are very good in their job on these sites, you just have to say what you want. And, you can finish with some good price for that job. There are lot of Indian freelancers there, and they are usually pretty cheap.

Another option would be to buy some of already made scripts. It doesn't matter what niche you choose, there is probably some script on the market, that can make your work much easier. Some of them are even free, but those better are usually paid. However, you have to invest sometimes, so investing in some good script shouldn't be a major problem for you. If it is good script, you won't be sorry later. Thousands of specialized web scripts can be found on www.hotscripts.com.

And last, you could use some of available CMS ( content managment systems ) or blogging platforms. These kind of web platforms are most heavily used on Internet today, and thats probably because they are easy to use, and pretty cheap or usually completely free. I said before that in Internet business, same as in any other, some serious work is required if we want it to be successful and to earn some money with it.

In this post, I am going to wrote about some of main actions that should have highest priority in our efforts on making money online.

1. Market Research

Before starting any business, lets first think about what kind of business it is going to be. Yes, I know it looks like "Good Morning Columbo", but you would be surprised how often people decide to start a business, and they just don't know what to do. Its not enough to say " I am going to make a website, and try to earn some money" if you haven't choose what kind of website you want to start, what kind of software you're going to use for it, what can you expect from that website...



First thing that some Internet newbie have to realize, is that he can't start a PHP coding business if he is not a PHP coder. Or, he can't make a successful accounting business, if he is not qualified for it.
You can count to build a successful website only if you start a website about niche you have lot of knowledge about, or at least you are very passionated about.

There is no way I could make a good cricket website, because I don't have idea what the cricket rules are. But I could easily spend days writing about football.

So, if you want to start some informative website, and you have experience of working in travel agency, than make a travel website, because you probably can offer some valuable content for your users. Making valuable content for users, is going to make you loved by search engines. With combination of these two factors, you have a big chance to earn some decent money.

2. Education

Never ending education is key of success in life. Knowing that IT industry is changing much faster than any other, this is even more important for any Internet Marketer, or anyone who want to make a career on web.
So don't ever be lazy to invest your time and money in educating yourself. Education is best investing that you can imagine.

3. Marketing and Advertising

Let me ask you a question ! Do you think Coca Cola would be so big company if it haven't invest billions of dollars in Marketing ? I am sure you'll think same as me - it wouldn't. Coke is a good drink, there is no doubt in it. In same time, there are tons of other great drinks out there, and some of them are maybe better than Coke. But they are not as close good in Marketing, as Coca Cola is. Coca Cola made so many great marketing campaigns that made it globally known, and pushed it out from the crowd.

And that's what we need on Internet Business, too. We need to jump out from the crowd - to brand our self, and our web business. You can be sure that there is much more competition on the Web, that Coca Cola has in real world.
So we have to find a way to be creative, to make good advertising campaigns and to find optimal places foradvertise our business. So, I'll remind you on education again. Its much easier to educate our self about Internet marketing, than to have some expensive advertising companies do that for us.

4. Perseverance

You can't play a basketball like NBA player, if you don't have years of hard trainings behind yourself. There is no such things as one day success. You are going to fail, then you are going to rise, than to fail... before you come to level when you can say that you are successful.
So, don't quit after first fail. Don't quit if your first month on Web doesn't bring any money in your pocket. Don't even quit if your first year doesn't bring you an income that could pay for your bills. Some time would be required for that. Some of people would wait less, some of them would wait more. But if you work hard, and if you follow the rules, that times will come - soon or later. Don't miss it because you couldn't wait month or two more.

5. Practicing

It's difficult to know what kind of taste apple is, if we don't eat one. In same way, you can't know what kind of actions are profitable if you don't test them. Don't be scared on trying new things, testing new marketing ideas or innovations on your websites. You have to be ready on some sort of risk, but let me remind you on old one : There is no profit without risk !
You'll make mistakes, and some of them will cost you a money, but if you hit a right thing just once, that could bring you to the TOP. And you wouldn't like to miss the top, am I right ?

6. Statistics

Make all of those actions above, and keep on tracking statistics how successful they are. Doing that regularly, you'll be able to react on right time, if some things have to be changed. And that can save you some money.
